Mrs. Constance Ford Weiss, 93, entered the arms of the Lord surrounded by an abundance of love on Friday, September 12, 2025.
On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:45AM, family and friends are invited gather directly at the gravesite in St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit where the prayers of committal will be offered at 11:00AM prior to Constance’s burial in the family plot.
Constance, the daughter of the late Claire Kobylinski Ford and the late Stanley W. Ford, was born in Bayonne, New Jersey. She lived in Bayonne and Union before settling in Linden for fifty-four years prior to moving to Honey Brook, Pennsylvania in 2015.
Constance was a “Jersey Girl” through and through. She was a quiet, refined lady who didn’t mind stating her opinion when she thought it was warranted. Constance came from good stock, and she was blessed with a long lifeline that only wavered in the last few weeks before her death. She was a woman devoted to her family, her church and taking care of her home. Constance took great pride in these cornerstones of her life, and she lived according to the principles that were instilled in her by her parents.
Predeceased by her husband, Urban “Joe” W. Weiss in 2013, Constance is survived by her daughter, Karen Bongard and her husband, James and Constance’s neighbors and friends.
Even though she is no longer with us physically, Constance’s spirit and legacy will continue to shine on through her family and everyone who was fortunate enough to spend quality time with her. As Constance finally reunites with her husband, Joe, together may they now find eternal rest with the Lord.
