Collin, the son of Natalie Marie Bjornsen and Nicholas Anthony Jimenez was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was always a “Jersey guy”, living mostly in South River and Linden.
A graduate of Linden High School class of 2016 prepared Collin for the work force, as he was an extremely hard, dedicated worker. Collin was the manager for Bonefish Grill in East Brunswick and concurrently, he also had another job as a bartender for 33’s Tavern in South River. In his free time, he loved video gaming. Collin was a wonderful man who enjoyed life and all it had to offer. He was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, stepson, and a wonderful friend to all those who were lucky enough to know him. Collin did his best to make a life for himself and his beautiful daughter, Emily. She was the stars in his eyes and the love in his heart. Collin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he was always ready for a new adventure. He was a man with a big heart who always put others before himself.
Predeceased by his fraternal grandfather, Michael Jimenez, Sr., Collin leaves behind his daughter, Emily Jimenez; his mother, Natalie M. Bjornsen and her husband, Gregory Brown; his father, Nicholas A. Jimenez; his three siblings, John Brown, Kyle Sokol and Essence Brown; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Bjornsen; his maternal grandfather, Dennis James Bjornsen and his wife, Madeline; his fraternal grandmother, Stephanie Jimenez; his two uncles, Matt Jimenez and Mike Jimenez, Jr.; his six cousins that he was so close to, Mike Jr., Gabreille, Alec, Michelle, Gabriella and Molly; his great aunt, Kathy Rumola; the mother of his child, Tiffany Vega and his many co-workers, neighbors and friends.
Collin will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Our hearts are broken but we take solace in the fact that he got his wings and now it is his turn to fly.
