Mrs. Terroni was the daughter of the late Alfonzo and Marie Repale, and was born on March 8, 1929, in Newark, New Jersey. She worked as a cashier in the cafeteria section of the Merck facility in Rahway for many years. Mrs. Terroni was a devout advocate for both special needs individuals, and of course, animals. She was known for loving animals, fostering many herself, and donating time at many animal rescue facilities. Christine was a loving individual and deeply cared for others in all she did. She enjoyed watching game shows, and cooking, especially Italian cuisine, for her late husband Vito, fondly known as Nick. It’s been said that she made a “mean” lasagna. She lived a long and beautiful life, was a caring mother, wife, and friend, and will be greatly missed by many.
Predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 38 years, Vito N (Nick) Terroni, her sister Elizabeth Strunk, and brother in law Robert Strunk, Christine is survived by her daughters Darlene Terroni, and Alison Terroni, as well as her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.
Although she has left us for a short time, we have faith that we will one day see Christine again, and she will welcome us with open arms at the gates of heaven.
