Bozena Ewa Stankiewicz

Mrs. Bozena Ewa Bunalska Stankiewicz, 65, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

On Thursday, September 23^rd, at 9:45AM, family and friends will gather directly at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Linden, where a funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM.  The prayers of committal will precede Mrs. Stankiewicz’s burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.

Mrs. Stankiewicz, the daughter of Marianna Kozicka Bunalska and Kazimierz Bunalski, was born in Nidzica, Poland.  She came to the United States in 1994 and Mrs. Stankiewicz resided in Colonia, New Jersey prior to moving to Linden, New Jersey a few months ago.

Mrs. Stankiewicz’s focus in life was to care for her family and friends and she loved spending time with everyone but especially her grandchildren.  Family was everything to her and nothing brought her greater joy!

Mrs. Stankiewicz is survived by her two sons, Pawel Stankiewicz and his wife, Elwira and Rafal Stankiewicz; her brother Zbigniew Bunalski; her two sisters, Danuta Szczesny and Malgorzata Grygoruk; her six grandchildren, Sandra, Michelle, Paul, Patryk, Michal and Karolina and her former spouse, Lech Stankiewicz.

Mrs. Stankevich was a woman who had a heart of gold, an abundance of love for her family and friends and a strong devotion to her church.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
