Barbara Apolonia Tabor

Mrs. Barbara Apolonia Bajon Tabor, 74, died Monday, April 5, 2021 in the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Mrs. Tabor, the daughter of the late Zofia Tomaszewska Bajon and the late Mieczyslaw Bajon, was born in Warsaw, Poland.  She lived in Jozefow/Otwock, Poland for thirty-six years, followed by a residence in Warsaw, Poland for three years.  Mrs. Tabor then traveled to the United States, where she lived in New York for fifteen years before settling in Garfield, New Jersey twenty years ago.

Mrs. Tabor worked as a home medical caregiver for thirty-five years.  She was self-employed for twenty-five years and then went to work for Casa Home Care Inc. of Clifton, New Jersey for the past ten years.

Mrs. Tabor is survived by her husband of seventeen years,  Wojciech Tabor; her sister, Wanda Furmanczyk and her nephew, Konrad Furmanczyk.

In accordance with Mrs. Tabor’s wishes, her cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden will be private.  Her cremated remains will be returned to her homeland of Poland soon for burial in the family plot.
