Anna, the daughter of the late Reyes Munoz Rios Bonet and the late Aurelio Bonet, Sr. was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and she resided in Rahway before settling in Stewartsville in 2006.
Anna had a long career of twenty-nine years at Verizon in Morristown, where she most recenty held the position of Senior Analyst on value-based marketing.
Known and loved by all for her intelligence, quick wit, and kind heart, Anna loved to travel both the world and the United States. She especially loved the beach, the sound of the ocean and the island of Puerto Rico. Anna was committed to her immediate and extended family and served as a source of strength, comfort, and laughter for them. Anna loved to cook, taking time to perfect her recipes and share them with family and friends. Providing hearty and abundant dishes for her family was a source of great joy for Anna. Her sense of humor and dry wit turned chores into amusement, work into fun, and often helped make it possible for others to navigate sad times. Anna was always a delight to be around. Anna was a true humanitarian. Though others might see her acts as charity, Anna would view them simply as what you did for those around you, be they family, friends, co-workers, or even strangers. Her selflessness, compassion, and generosity were never calculated; it was innate to her caring spirit. Anna loved to shop, especially for bargains. And she was quick to share her research or bargain finds with others. Most of all, Anna loved her grandchildren and took every opportunity to spend time with them.
Anna is survived by her loving daughter, Nicole Bonet and her companion, Undray Wilkerson; her brother, Aurelio Anthony Bonet, Jr.; her sister, Daisy Bonet-Ferris and her husband, James Ferris; her three grandchildren, Liliana, Kayden and Alani and her grandbaby soon to be born, Adalina; her nieces and nephews, Natalie Vasquez, Felix Vasquez III and his wife, Jessica, Antonio Rosania and Nikos Rosania; her grand nieces and nephews, Alexander Brown, Janessa Brown, Angela Vasquez, Sophia Vasquez, Joseph Tanner, Jr., Santino Vasquez, Luna Ekweonu and Sergio Vasquez; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers – all of whom loved her.
Anna was the shining light of her family that has now been dimmed. Their hearts are forever broken, and tears overflow from their eyes, as Anna’s loved ones now find a way to cope with this great loss. Anna’s love encompassed them all & she will now and forever be their angel up above. May Anna rest in Eternal Peace.
