Alexandra Bergen Obituary

Ms. Alexandra “Alex”,”Allie” Theresa Bergen, 30, became a heavenly angel on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Alex was born in Bristol in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  She spent most of her formative years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.   Alex was a graduate of the Linden school system, attending McManus Junior High School and Linden High School.  She continued her education by attending Union County College, where she received her Associates Degree, followed by her time spent at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree.  She then persevered and obtained her Master’s Degree in Sustainability- living off the land and going green, along with a minor in horticulture from the Maharishi International University in Fairfield, Iowa.  Following graduation, Alex lived in Hawaii for about a year working  within one of the Maharishi International University’s programs.  She was also fortunate to live in New Zealand for 7 months to explore meditation which was a program also sponsored by the same University.  Alex then spent time in Napo, Ecuador living and learning from the indigenous community, where she also climbed the Andes Mountains.  Most recently, Alex was working in the marketing department of RSI Bank in Rahway, New Jersey.

In her free time Alex enjoyed any sport or activity that dealt with nature and the outdoors.  This included walking, running, hiking, surfing, skate boarding, snowboarding, growing plants and other species in the soil.  However the best times of her life were spent with all her family, especially her brother.

Predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Phil Bussico, Alex is survived by her mother, Krystine Marie Lehner and her husband, Klever J. Quinteros; her brother, Anthony R. Quinteros; her father, Matthew Lee Bergen; her maternal grandmother, Teresa Lehner; her maternal grandfather, Anthony A. Lehner and his wife, Donna Jacik-Lehner and her paternal grandmother, Cathy Bussico.

All funeral services will be private.  There will be a celebration of Alex’s life around the time of her birthday in May, where all her family and friends can come together.

Alex had an abundance of love for everyone and somehow, she just made everyone smile.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Alex will always remain in our hearts.
