Adam, the son of Teresa S. Mojek Regula and the late Edward Regula (9/11/2016) was born in Mielec, Poland and he came to the United States on August 10, 1962. Adam lived in Wallington, New Jersey from 1962 until 1994 when he settled in Monmouth Junction.
His long career history began as an auto mechanic for a private company working on Jaguars and Rolls Royce’s. He then switched fields by entering the health care and pharmaceutical industry working first as a production mechanic, then as a team leader packaging mechanic for large firms such as Carter-Wallace Inc., Pfizer Inc., Church & Dwight Company. In April of 2013, Adam became the Production Mechanic Supervisor for DPT Laboratories, which later morphed into Renaissance Lakewood LLC., where he currently holds the title of Production Maintenance Supervisor.
Adam was a member of the Gang Green Nation, a true New York Jets football fan and also an enthusiast of the New Jersey Devils NHL team. During his high school years, Adam hit the ice as a goalie for his local hockey recreation team. While living in Wallington, he earned the nickname “Peacemaker”. Adam was adept at woodworking, often producing beautiful furniture that he gifted to family and friends alike. He was very comfortable in the outdoors, whether it be fishing, boating or any outdoor activities. It was a given that Adam would try anything, at least once. He decided to set up an incubator in his basement, warming chicken and turkey eggs. It was so successful that everyone received turkeys for Thanksgiving that year! Adam was the kindest and soft spoken man ever with a smile that reached his eyes, but everyone also knew that you never wanted to cross him. The kids – his nieces and nephews often lovingly called Adam “Uncle Tuff Knuckles”, even as they all played the Bingo Bongo game together every holiday. Beyond all of this, Adam’s wife and family were his life. There was basically nothing else that could be added that would have made him more complete. Adam loved to simply be with his family and that filled his heart to the brim.
Predeceased by his father, Edward Regula in 2016, Adam is survived by his lady love of thirty-three years, Michele L. Regula, whom he was married to for twenty-seven years. He also leaves behind the shattered hearts of his two sons, Adam A. Regula and his fiancé, Nichol Wilson and Patrick Boisier and his wife, Cassandra; his mother, Teresa S. Mojek Regula; his two brothers, Walter Regula and his wife, Penny and Krzysztof Regula and his wife, Barbara; his five grandchildren, Violet, Olivia, Liam, Logan and Madeline; Adam’s nieces, nephews, other family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends.
The shining light of Adam has now been diminished. The family is beyond understanding because now all that is left are broken hearts and tear-filled eyes. Please keep everyone in your prayers as they try to cope in a world without Adam. He was loved; he is loved; Adam will forever be loved.
