Silverio Nieves
Mr. Silverio Nieves, 63, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 in the Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
In accordance with Mr. Nieves wishes, he was privately cremated at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey.
A memorial visitation for all of Mr. Nieves’s family and friends will be held in the Kowalski Funeral home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Saturday, November 3rd. from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
Mr. Nieves, the son of the late Basilisa Santiago Nieves and the late Felix Nieves, was born in Brooklyn, New York. He later lived in Long Beach, California for a number of years, followed by his residence in Elizabeth, New Jersey for thirty-two years before settling in Hillside, New Jersey two years ago.
Mr. Nieves was a printer for All-State Legal in Cranford, New Jersey for fifteen years, retiring in 2001.
Mr. Nieves is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Noemi Rojas Nieves; his three children, Henry Castro and his wife, Yomayra, Nakisha Viera and her husband, Felix and Nydia Nieves; his six brothers and sisters, Carmen Nieves, Felix Nieves, Richard Nieves, Fernando Nieves, Gene Nieves and Benito Nieves and his seven grandchildren, Naomi Rosa, Christian Viera, Felix Viera, Emilia Castro, Ethan Viera, Pablo Cruz and Damian Castro.
