Mrs. Sandra Ruff Katz, 72, died Friday, December 15, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family, in the Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey.   

On Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:45AM, family and friends will meet directly at the office area of the Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey.  The Tziduk Hadin, the Mourners Kaddish and other prayers will be recited by Rabbi Dennis Tobin at the family gravesite at 11:00AM. 

Mrs. Katz, the daughter of the late Dorothy Finkel Ruff and the late Morris Ruff, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she resided from 1950 until her relocation to Toms River, New Jersey  three and a half years ago.

Mrs. Katz was employed by the Elizabeth Board of Education, as a personal aide, working with the special needs students in the Theodore Roosevelt School #17 in Elizabeth, New Jersey for thirty years until her retirement in 2013.

Her spare time was spent participating in the various activities of support for the Deborah Heart & Lung Centers.

Mrs. Katz is survived by her husband, Edward Ray Katz and her son, Gary Richard Katz.
