Mr. Peter J. Fresnics Sr., 81, died Friday, March 23, 2018 in his home, surrounded by those he loved.

On Wednesday, March 28^th. between 10:10AM – 10:20AM, family and friends will gather directly at St. John the Apostle R. C. Church, Linden – Clark, where a funeral mass will be offered at 10:30AM.  Following the mass, the entombment will take place in the family crypt in Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery in Union.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mr. Fresnics memory to a charity of your choice.

Mr. Fresnics, the son of the late Theresa Michanski Fresnics and the late Peter Fresnics, was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, where he resided until moving to Linden, New Jersey in 1964.

Mr. Fresnics was a maintenance man for AT&T, working in many of their locations, the last of which was Bedminster, New Jersey.  After forty years of employment by AT&T, Mr. Fresnics retired in August of 1997.

Mr. Fresnics was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving in the U.S. Army.

Predeceased by his son, Joseph T. Fresnics on March 13, 2016, Mr. Fresnics is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Josephine E. Lampkin Fresnics; his son, Peter J. Fresnics Jr.; his four grandchildren, Ashley Fresnics, Brianna Sall, Amanda Fresnics and Andrew Fresnics and his three great grandchildren.
