Mr. Michael R. Miczewski, 49, died suddenly on Friday, November 29, 2019 in his home.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Thursday, December 5th. from 9:00-10:00AM. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus R.C. Church, Linden at 11:00AM. The prayers of committal will precede Michael’s burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
Michael was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and he resided in Clark, New Jersey before settling in Rahway, New Jersey in 1995.
Michael was self-employed as the owner and operator of Manhattan Banner in Rahway, New Jersey, where he produced signs of all varieties and for many applications for thirty years. Michael was known to be a work-a-holic and he became successful early in his career because of his stubborn determination to succeed. He never wanted or asked for assistance from anyone, as Michael always felt that he could accomplish his goals on his own, according to his own timeframe.
Predeceased by his father, Michael S. Miczewski, Michael is survived by his mother, Christine Budzinski Kukis; his step-father, Jerry Kukis; his sister, Nicole Linardos and her husband, Stephen; his nephew, Lucas Linardos; his niece, Lia Linardos and his longtime friends, especially those from high school.
