Mr. Kazimierz Adam Karbowski, 84, died Friday, March 2, 2018 in the North Carolina home of his son, Roman, surrounded by the love of his family.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Friday, March 9^th. from 5:00 – 8:00PM.  On Saturday, March 10^th., at 9:45AM, family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Hedwig R.C. Church, 600 Myrtle Street, Elizabeth, where a funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM.  Entombment will follow in the family crypt in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Linden.

Mr. Karbowski, the son of the late Zofia Plisinska Karbowska and the late Jozef Karbowski, was born in Ostrowite, Poland and he came to the United States in 1977.  He lived in Linden, South River, Old Bridge and Jackson, all towns in New Jersey, for twenty-seven years, before moving to Concord, North Carolina in 2004.

Mr. Karbowski was a sanitation worker for Twin Oaks Inc. in Cranbury, New Jersey for many years, before retiring in 1996.

Predeceased by his wife, Teresa Skarzynska Karbowska in 2011, Mr. Karbowski is survived by his son, Roman K. Karbowski and his wife, Marta; his brother, Jan Karbowski; his three sisters, Anna Komorek, Helen Maklas and Victoria Lasota and his grandson, Kyle Karbowski.
