Joanne J. Madar Norelli
Mrs. Joanne J. Madar Norelli, 74, died Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Care Connection Rehabilitation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.
Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Friday, January 12th. from 4:00 – 7:00PM. The cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, will be private.

Mrs. Norelli, the daughter of the late Mary Madar, was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania and she has lived in Linden, New Jersey for over sixty years.
She was employed as a teller for the Columbia Savings Bank in Linden, New Jersey for thirty-five years, until her retirement in 2009.
Joanne was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She supported many charities such as the various veterans associations, animal rescues, food banks, cancer and heart associations. Joanne was also passionate about supporting education and feeding people in need and she donated regularly to the Union County College Foundation and the Union County College Food Pantry.
Mrs. Norelli was recently predeceased by her husband of fifty-seven years, Duane ‘Dino’ J. Norelli Sr. on December 24, 2017.
She is survived by her five children, Duane J. Norelli, Jr. and his wife, Nita, Donna M. Norelli, Susan A. Norelli Daddis and her husband, Ron, Michael A. Norelli and Dr. Melinda “Mindi” C. Norelli; her six grandchildren and her three great grandchildren.
