Mrs. Elzbieta Modzelewska, 87, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in her home surrounded by the love of her family

In accordance with Mrs. Modzelewska’s wishes, her cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, New Jersey and the inurnment of her cremains in the family niche in Rosedale Cemetery, also in Linden, New Jersey, was private.

Mrs. Modzelewska was born in Marki, Poland and she came to the United States in 1975 and resided in Roselle Park, New Jersey before moving to Rahway, New Jersey twenty years ago.

Mrs. Modzelewska worked for eighteen years as a clerk in the shipping department of a clothing manufacturer until she retired in 1993.

Predeceased by her husband, Zdzislaw Antoni Zdanowicz in 2004 and her daughter, Gina Razak in 2005, Mrs. Modzelewska is survived by her daughter, Joanna Delcid and her husband, Carlos; her granddaughter, Karen Razak Burns and her husband, Matthew and her great grandchild, Carter Burns.
