Mr. Domingo A. Nunez Gonzalez, 77, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in the Elmora Hills Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Saturday, June 24th. from 4:00 – 8:00PM. The cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden, will be private.
Mr. Nunez Gonzalez was born in the Dominican Republic and he came to the United States in 1999, settling in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Mr. Nunez Gonzalez was employed as a stock clerk for the Twin City Supermarket in Elizabeth for nineteen years, before retiring in September of 2016.
He was predeceased by his father, Domingo Nunez and his brother, Carlos Gonzalez.
Mr. Nunez Gonzalez is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Esperanza Nunez Familia; his seven sons, Marcos Nunez and his wife, Yudelka, Alvin Gonzalez and his wife, Carmen, Nelson Gonzalez and his wife, Ana, Luis Gonzalez and his wife, Maritza, Jose Gonzalez and his wife, Mariela, Milton Rodriguez and his wife, Denise and Tommy Nunez; his daughter, Yasiris Nunez; his one hundred and two year old mother, Maria Gonzalez Nunez; his two brothers, Rafael Gonzalez and Carmelo Acosta; his two sisters, Maria Gonzalez and Aura Nunez; his twenty-four grandchildren and his three great grandchildren.
