Charlotte Czubowicz Scerbo

Mrs. Charlotte Czubowicz Scerbo, 90, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Wednesday, January 3^rd. from 9:00 – 11:00AM.  At 11:00AM a funeral prayer service will be offered in the funeral home by the Rev. Jan Kosc.  The burial in the family plot in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, will be private.

Mrs. Scerbo, the daughter of the late Pauline Frekey Czubowicz and the late Joseph Czubowicz, was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  She lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey for thirty years before moving to Rahway, New Jersey in 1972.

Mrs. Scerbo was an active community member of the Polish National Catholic Church of Holy Trinity & St. Joseph in Linden, New Jersey.

Predeceased by her two brothers, Albert and Ronald Czubowicz, Mrs. Scerbo is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Louis “Lou” Scerbo; her sister, Carolyn Lugris and her husband, Joe; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Peter Scerbo and his wife, Sina and Mary DiMaggio and her husband, Tony and several nieces and nephews.
