Carmella M. Ciambruschini Renda

Mrs. Carmella M. Ciambruschini Renda, 85, died on Monday, June 19, 2017 in her home in Newark, California, surrounded by the love of her family.

On Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:45AM, family and friends are asked to gather directly in the mausoleum chapel in Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1900 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth, New Jersey 07033.  The prayers of committal will be offered at 11:00AM by the Reverend Bryan Wolf, followed by the entombment in the family crypt.

Mrs. Renda, the daughter of the late Rosina Acocella Ciambruschini and the late Pasquale Ciambruschini was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  She resided in Elizabeth, Linden and Rahway, New Jersey before moving to Newark, California in December of 2004.

Mrs. Renda was a proud graduate of Battin High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey and while living in Linden and Rahway, New Jersey, she was a communicant of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Linden.

Mrs. Renda was employed by the Linden Board of Education as the manager of the cafeteria in McManus Junior High School in Linden for twenty-five years.  She then became part of the kitchen staff for the Schering-Plough Corporation in Union for eight years, before retiring in 1996.

Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Renda and her son, Anthony James Renda, Mrs. Renda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Keith Winner; her three sisters, Concetta Fiorello, Lucy Osipchic and Josephine Ucci, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
