Ms. Amy E. Davis, 41, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Monday, July 10th. from 5:00 – 8:00PM. A funeral prayer service conducted by Father Bryan Wolf, will be held on Monday at 6:30PM, during the visitation. The prayers of committal and the burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, on Tuesday, July 11th., will be private.
Ms. Davis was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was raised in Linden, New Jersey and lived there for most of her life, with the exception of the ten years she spent in Blacksburg, Virginia, from 1997 to 2007, when she then returned to Linden.
Ms. Davis was employed as a wedding consultant and banquet coordinator for Spinnaker’s Restaurant, a banquet and lodging facility in Radford, Virginia. Unfortunately she had to relinquish her job in 2007, due to health concerns.
Locally, Ms. Davis was a member of the Linden Moose Lodge #913.
Ms. Davis is survived by her parents, Beth Bush Davis and Thomas A. Davis; her sister, Tricia Ann Hughes and her husband, Michael; her nephew, Joseph Duarte Hughes; her uncle, Richard Bush and his wife, Lorraine and her two aunts, Alice Kolibas-Feltman and her husband, Charles and Tina Lakata and her husband, James.
