Mrs. Aleksandra Marczak Dytko, 95, died Sunday, September 1, 2019 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Wednesday, September 4th. from 5:00-8:00PM. On Thursday, September 5th., from 8:15-8:45AM everyone will gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 8:45AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in St. Hedwig’s R.C. Church, Elizabeth at 10:00AM. The prayers of committal will precede her burial in the family plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Dytko’s memory to St. Hedwig’s R.C. Church, 717 Polonia Avenue, Elizabeth, New Jersey 07202.
Mrs. Dytko, the daughter of the late Katarzyna Turon Marczak and the late Roman Marczak, was born in Lutcza, Poland. She came to the United States in December of 1966 and resided in Elizabeth, New Jersey for five years and Linden, New Jersey for nineteen years, before moving to Sea Girt, New Jersey in November of 2018.
Mrs. Dytko was a long time member of the choir of St. Hedwig’s R.C. Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Predeceased in 1988 by her husband, Mieczyslaw Dytko, who everyone knew as Henryk, Mrs. Dytko is survived by her son, Chester Dytko and his wife, Lucy; her daughter, Kristina Milan and her husband, Michael; her sister, Maria Moskal; her five grandchildren, Jennifer Machat and her husband, Jacques, Christopher Milan and his wife, Lauren, Melanie Milan-Rodriguez and her husband, Justin Rodriguez, Monica Haley and her husband, Eric Offenberg and Ursula Dytko, as well as, her six great grandchildren; Sonya Machat, Maxim Machat, Whitney Milan, Reese Milan, Jacob Milan and Maddie Haley.
