Patricia Petroski

Mrs. Patricia A. Miller Petroski, 88, entered the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2024, escorted by His heavenly angels.

Patricia, the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Miller, was born in Pennsylvania and she lived in Rahway, New Jersey for two years before settling in Linden,New Jersey in 1959.

Patricia was a woman dedicated to her husband and raising her family.  She enjoyed cooking for everyone, especially around the holidays.  No one ever left Patricia’s house hungry and there was always enough left over to take home to enjoy for a few more days.  Every evening Patricia followed the same relaxation routine, as she settled in front of the television to experience the highs and lows of her two favorite shows - “Jeopardy” followed by “Wheel of Fortune”.  It might sound like a simple life, but that is what made up the caring nature of Particia.  Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with all her grandchildren.  What in this world could be better for both the spirit and the soul?

Predeceased by her husband, George L. Petroski in 2016, Patricia is survived by her two sons; George D. Petroski and his wife Theresa and Steven J. Petroski; her daughter, Karen A. Scott and her husband, Patrick; her brother, Bruce Bolin and his wife, Tina; her daughter-in-law, Partricia Gordon Petroski; her seven grandchildren, Kasey Petroski, Kelly Petroski, Christopher Petroski, Erin McNamara, Kaitlyn Scott, Nicole Chabala and John Chabala; her five great grandchildren, Keira, Chase, Joseph, Blake and Alex and Patricia’s many neighbors and friends.

With respect to the family’s wishes, private services will be held and Patricia, along with her husband, George, will be inurned in the family niche in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey.

Patricia had an abundance of love for everyone in her circle and she embodied a helpful and considerate nature.  She will be deeply missed, but Patricia will never be forgotten.
