Bronwyn, the daughter of the late Nancy Bowden Pearson and the late John Pearson, was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey where she lived until moving to Manhattan, New York City, New York fourteen years ago.
Bronwyn’s greatest achievement in life was her children and as an extension of that, she showered love and affection on all her grandchildren as she cared for them throughout their lives. She loved to cook and entertain, and Bronwyn made sure to instill this passion of the preparation and sharing of food with all her grandchildren. It is no surprise that Bronwyn’s grandchildren were the gifts and blessings that kept on giving. The minute she saw anyone of them, her eyes lit up with a special sparkle and her smile was a mile wide. Bronwyn also enjoyed spending time with her gal pals doing anything and everything with them. They were the circle that completed and nourished her life. She also loved to be surrounded by music of all genres – it was just good for her soul.
Predeceased by her son, William Murphy, Bronwyn is survived by her four children, Na’Eem Pearson and his wife, Sharice, Diane Pearson, Whitney Murphy and Jessica Estrada and her husband Ramses; her daughter-in-law, Mikaela Murphy; her two brothers, Ronnie Pearson and his companion, Jerry and Alex Frazier and his wife, Michelle; her five grandchildren, William Dwight, Kayssi Dwight, Cyrus Pearson, Joshua Tondee and Cairo Estrada and Bronwyn’s husband, William Murphy.
Bronwyn has left her family broken hearted with tear filled eyes. Help them to weather this loss with all the love and support you can give to each and every one of them. Bronwyn will be deeply missed, but her memory and her story will live on, and Bronwyn will never be forgotten.
