Mrs. Buslowski was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Franciszka Jarmolinski Drozd and the late Wojciech Drozd.  As a young child, she went with her family to Poland, where she grew up and did her schooling.  Mrs. Buslowski returned to the United States and settled in Linden, New Jersey in 1946.

In the early years of her return to the United States, Mrs. Buslowski worked for various companies, including Westinghouse Electric Company, Merck & Company and the Ampeg Company Inc. for several years before devoting herself to her family, especially her son.

Mrs. Buslowski was very much a “Renaissance Woman”.  She furthered her formal education by constantly trying to improve herself.  Mrs. Buslowski was a voracious reader of anything she could get her hands on, whether it was books, multiple newspapers, such as the NY Times and other periodicals.  Her love of the outdoors was exhibited in her passionate interest in gardening and bird watching.  Mrs. Buslowski also enjoyed the sights and sounds of New York City, New York, as she would make weekly trips there to enjoy the theater and other artistic offerings and even fit in some personal pampering.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome H. Buslowski on July 4, 1994; her son, Jan Buslowski on December 4, 2014 and her two brothers, Edward Drozd who she lost during the World War II in 1944 and Henry J. Drozd on July 14, 2014.

Mrs. Buslowski is survived by her nephew, who she referred to as “her guardian angel”, Richard H. Drozd and his wife, Bernice; her two nieces, Irene M. Roglieri and her husband, John and Regina Benitez and her husband, Albert; her seven great nephews and nieces and her one great great nephew and one great great niece.
