Mr. Stephen D. Durosky, 78, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon in the Vanderhoven Chapel on the grounds of Hazel Wood Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.  At the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 Noon, there will be a religious service offered in the chapel, followed by the prayers of committal at the gravesite in Hazel Wood Cemetery, Colonia, New Jersey. 

Mr. Durosky, the son of the late Jean Kuzma Durosky and the late Stephen M. Durosky was born in Newark, New Jersey.  He lived in Linden, New Jersey before moving to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in 1995.

Mr. Durosky was an assembly line worker for General Motors in Linden, New Jersey for thirty years before retiring in 1993.  Concurrently, he was the owner and operator of the Blue Jay Tree Service in Linden, New Jersey from 1970 to 1997.  Mr. Durosky then became a security guard for the Professional Security Bureau in Belvidere, New Jersey for three years and concluded his work history in 2001.

Mr. Durosky was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. 

He was also a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 595 in Linden, New Jersey.

Predeceased by his wife, Louise M. Boczon Durosky on February 25, 2001, Mr. Durosky is survived by his daughter, Michelle C. Ruscansky and her husband, John and his granddaughter, Katy Ruscansky.
