Ms. Sherry Lynn Woods, 67, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Sunday, November 26^th. from 3:00 – 6:00PM.  On Monday, November 27^th. at 10:45AM, family and friends are asked to gather directly at the chapel on the grounds of the Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, New Jersey where a funeral service and the prayers of committal will be offered at 11:00AM.  The burial will follow in the family plot.

Ms. Woods, the daughter of Billie Jean Adams Sayre and the late William Watson, was born in Huntington, West Virginia.  Ms. Woods resided in West Virginia, as well as other cities in New Jersey, before settling in Hillsborough, New Jersey ten years ago.

She was an accounts receivable researcher for Fleet Street Ltd. in Avenel, New Jersey for five years until her disabling illness forced her to retire in 2007.

Ms. Woods is survived by her children, Lisa David and her husband, Joe, Rachel FitzGerald and her husband, Shawn, Kendra Sweeney and her husband, Topel, Nathan Woods and his wife, Gloria and Jessica Wynne and her husband, Michael; her mother, Billie Jean Sayre and her sixteen grandchildren.
