Mrs. Olga Fedirko Osada, 97, died Friday, March 17, 2017 in her home, surrounded by the love and devotion of her family

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Wednesday, March 22^nd. from 4:00 – 7:00PM.  On Thursday, March 23^rd. at 8:45AM, family and friends are ask to gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 9:15AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in St. John the Apostle R.C. Church, Linden at 10:30AM.  Burial will take place in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

Mrs. Osada, the daughter of the late Mary Duda Fedirko and the late Andrew Fedirko, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on October 27, 1919.  She has resided in Linden, New Jersey since 1921 and was a 1937 graduate of the Linden High School.

Her work history began as an assembly line worker for Volupte USA, and Burry Biscuits, both in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  Mrs. Osada then became the manager of Fedirko’s Old Willicks Farm Tavern and Fedirko’s Trailer Park, both in Linden, New Jersey, a position she held for forty-two years, before she retired in 1985.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, Thadeus “Teddy” Osada (1950) and Matthew “Harry” Osada (2006); her granddaughter, Jessica Ann Osada (2015) and her granddaughter by marriage, Rebecca Osada (2011).

Mrs. Osada is survived by her three children, Barbara Ann Gilbert and her husband, Robert, Richard M. Osada and his partner, Dulcie Heiman and Robert Osada; her eight grandchildren, Susan Leone Ownes and her husband, Scott, Dr. Richard Leone and his wife, Katherine, David Leone and his wife, Laura, Andrea Lynn Kelman, Richard Brian Osada, Kara Michelle Osada D’Avella and her husband, Matthew, Krysta Jenelle Osada and her partner, Timothy Arguello and Kristen Leigh Osada and her partner, Patrick Cwiakala; her fourteen great grandchildren, Kaitlin Lindsay Ownes, Michael Andrew Ownes, Matthew Joseph Ownes, Delaney Jane Mast and her husband, Alex, Meghan Bowles, Esthar Ruth Mae Osada, Elias Osada, Wyatt Orion D’Avella, Shane Tyler Osada, Riley Osada, Jayden Grady Belluscio, Emily Katherine Leone, Elizabeth Grace Leone and Charles John Leone; her great great grandchild, Delilah Mast and her sister, Stephania Nezowy.
