Maria Irena Juchimiec Piotrowska

Mrs. Maria Irena Juchimiec Piotrowska, 90, died Saturday, May 6^th. in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Tuesday, May 9^th. from 7:00 – 9:00PM.  On Wednesday, May 10^th. a funeral mass will be offered in St. Theresa R.C. Church, Linden at 10:00AM.  Burial will follow in the family plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden.

Mrs. Piotrowska, the daughter of the late Franciszka Jelen Juchimiec and the late Jefrem Juchimiec, was born in Poland and came to the United States in 1973.  She lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey before moving to Linden, New Jersey in 1979.  Mrs. Piotrowska remained in Linden, New Jersey until 2015, when she relocated to Rahway, New Jersey.

Mrs. Piotrowska worked in the housekeeping department of the Elizabeth General Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey for eighteen years prior to her retirement in 1991.

She was active in the St. Theresa Church community for many years, especially as a pierogi maker.

Mrs. Piotrowska was predeceased by her husband, Edward Piotrowski in 1983.
