For many years John was a stalwart member of NAMI New Jersey's Public Policy Committee, where I had the distinct pleasure of coming to know him. We sometimes drove together to the committee meetings at NAMI NJ's office. On those rides, John told fascinating tales of his Navy service and tough jobs he handled in his career as an electrician. Of course he also spoke often of his family, so dear to his heart. I greatly enjoyed his company and now sadly bid him a fond farewell, while saluting his life of utmost devotion to family and friends, to all of whom I extend my very deepest condolences.

The world lost a beautiful soul this week. John was the kindest, gentlest human being I have ever met! John never had a bad word to say about anyone, did not judge, would give he shirt off his back to a stranger, and was humble to say the least! You will be sorely missed by all who you have touched. I am honored to have called you my Father-In-Law. God Speed!

We were all blessed to have your father in our lives...he was certainly a great Dad and person.
No one ever hugged better and more lovingly then him. Although there were struggles along the way, he would always plug on. GOD has a special place for him in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

Dear Family,
Your dad was a great person and always with a great big hug and a smile. You knew you were hugged when John hugged you. He was loved by so many and always gave of himself. You were fortunate to have him as your dad and he loved all of you. He will be missed greatly, but will always be with us in spirit. He is with all his loved ones and at peace. Keep the wonderful memories with you always. We love you John and your family. Aunt Frannie & Uncle Joe. XOXOXOXO
