Felicisimo “Pat” R. Galvez

Private cremation services were held for Mr. Felicisimo “Pat” R. Galvez, 65, who died Sunday, November 20, 2016, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Galvez was born in Manila, Philippines.  He came to the United States in October of 1981 and lived in Lodi, New Jersey before moving to Linden, New Jersey in 1988.

Mr. Galvez was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service in the Distribution Center in Kearny, New Jersey since 1997.

When Mr. Galvez was not spending time with his family and friends, his passion for golf would find him out on the links.

Predeceased by his brother, Jose, Mr. Galvez is survived by his wife, Milagros Garcia Galvez; his son, Jonathan G. Galvez; his two daughters, Toni Rose Galvez and Patricia Galvez Gruswitz and her husband, Andrew; his brother, Ricardo; his two sisters, Carol and Aurora and his three grandchildren, Olive Galvez Gruswitz, Eden Galvez Gruswitz and Violet Galvez Gruswitz.

A memorial celebration of Mr. Galvez’s life is currently in the planning stage and this obituary will be updated to relay the pertinent information once the plans are completed.
