Mrs. Eleanor Thompson Calvert, 91, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in the Independence Manor in Flemington, New Jersey.

On Wednesday, July 27^th. at 9:45AM, family and friends are asked to gather in the Linden Presbyterian Church, 1506 Orchard Terrace, Linden, New Jersey, where a memorial funeral service will be offered at 10:00AM. The inurnment of her cremains in the family niche in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, New Jersey, will be private. 

Mrs. Calvert was the daughter of the late Margaret Glenn Thompson and the late James Thompson.  She was born in Gilford,  county Armagh, Northern Ireland and she lived in Linden, New Jersey for sixty years before moving to Flemington, New Jersey in 2011.

Mrs. Calvert was employed as a clerk typist for Mobay Chemical Corp. in Union, New Jersey for ten years until her retirement in 1984.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Calvert in 2005 and her daughter-in-law, Joan Zaremba Calvert in 2014.

Mrs. Calvert is survived by her children, Maureen Hubeny and her husband, Richard, Glenn Calvert, Sarah Jane Romanowski and her husband, Steven; her nine grandchildren and her fourteen great grandchildren.
