Duane “Dino” J. Norelli, Sr.

Mr. Duane “Dino” J. Norelli, Sr., 75, died Sunday, December 24, 2017 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Thursday, December 28^th. from 4:00 – 7:00PM.  The cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, will be private.

Mr. Norelli, the son of the late Marie Costanza Norelli and the late John Norelli Sr., was born in Newark, New Jersey and spent his entire life in Linden, New Jersey.

He worked as a machinist for Thomas and Betts in Elizabeth, New Jersey for thirty years until the company closed in 1994.  Mr. Norelli then became a foreman for Paige Electric in Union, New Jersey for thirteen years, until his retirement in 2009.

Simultaneously, Mr. Norelli enjoyed his part time employment as a driver for the House of Flowers in Linden, New Jersey for thirty five years until 2012.

Mr. Norelli was a member of the United States Bowling Congress [USBC].  He bowled on many leagues throughout the years and acted as a league secretary and treasurer for a number of them.

Above all, Mr. Norelli, “Dino”, as he was known to everyone, was a good man who was loved by all.

Predeceased by his sister, Theresa Norelli McGee, Mr. Norelli is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Joanne Madar Norelli; his five children, Duane J. Norelli, Jr. and his wife, Nita, Donna M. Norelli, Susan A. Norelli Daddis and her husband, Ron, Michael A. Norelli and Dr. Melinda “Mindi” C. Norelli; his two brothers, Chris Norelli and John Norelli, Jr.; his six grandchildren and his three great grandchildren.
