In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Kroboth Family. The donations will be pooled together and the Kroboth Family will forward those donations, along with their own, to the Linden Elementary School #1 to be earmarked for a “Buddy Bench” in Mrs. Kroboth's memory.
Mrs. Carol-Ann Heath Kroboth, 71, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Thursday, December 8th. from 3:00 – 7:00PM. A funeral prayer service will be offered by the Reverend Bryan Wolf at 6:15PM during the Thursday visitation. The cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, New Jersey will be private.
Mrs. Kroboth, the daughter of the late Barbara V. Baum Heath and the late Arthur Heath was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and has resided in Linden, New Jersey since 1948.
She was employed by the Linden Board of Education as a teacher. Mrs. Kroboth’s career spanned forty-nine years and a majority of that time was spent at the Linden Elementary School #1, until her retirement a few months ago.
Mrs. Kroboth was a lifetime member of the State of New Jersey PTA Association, as well as, a life time member of the Linden School #1 PTA organization and a notary for the State of New Jersey. Some of her other impressive affiliations include being a leader for the Girl Scouts of America, being a Rainbow Girl and a member of the Eastern Star, both in the Masonic Lodge and being a past-president and member the Volunteer Ambulance Corps., all of Linden, New Jersey.
Mrs. Kroboth is survived by her husband of fifty years, J. Robert Kroboth: her son, Brian Frees-Kroboth and his wife, Kathleen,: her daughter, Karen Campbell and her husband, Gerry and her six grandchildren, Bethany Fontana, Rebecca Fontana, Riley Frees-Kroboth, Kaitlin Frees-Kroboth, Donovan Frees-Kroboth and Owen Frees-Kroboth.
